【摘要】
Vortices are fundamental topological excitations featuring the in-plane winding of a vector field and are important in various research areas. Although commonly existing in nature, vortices were almost observed exclusively in the real space. Using a home-made polarization-resolved momentum-space imaging spectroscopy, we completely mapped out the dispersion, quality factors and polarization states of all radiative surface-plasmon-polariton modes in plasmonic crystals at visible wavelengths. Optical vortices with well-defined topological charges in the momentum space are successfully observed as the winding of far-field polarization vectors in the Brillouin zone. In particular, vortices with different integer topological charges are revealed. By breaking the structural symmetry, vortices with factional integer topological charges are observed at the Dirac points.

资剑教授于1985年获复旦大学理学学士;88年获复旦大学理学硕士;91年获复旦大学理学博士学位。92至94年在德国明斯特大学做博士后。
1991年任复旦大学物理系讲师,1995年任复旦大学物理系副教授,1996年任复旦大学物理系教授至今。
1996年获得杰出青年基金,2001年入选国家级人才项目特聘教授;2001和2006年两次担任科技部973项目首席科学家。
研究领域包括光子晶体、表面等离激元学、自然界光子结构及结构色、液体表面波在周期结构中传播等。
