会议摘要：

　　第28届轻子光子国际会议由国际纯粹与应用物理联合会（IUPAP）指定，是高能物理及相关领域的首要系列会议，每两年举办一次，是高能物理领域内最为重要的二个国际会议之一。大会只接受被邀报告，演讲人均在该领域拥有突出成就和影响力的专家学者，或是他们推荐的有潜力的青年学者。来自世界各地的顶尖物理学家聚集在轻子光子国际会议，讨论粒子物理、核物理、天文学、宇宙学的最新进展和未来设施计划。

　　第28届轻子光子国际会议将于8月7日至8月12日在中国广州bat365在线平台网站南校园举办，由bat365在线平台网站和中国科学院高能物理研究所联合主办。会议将遵循轻子光子国际会议的传统：会议大会报告涉及的主题是广大高能物理团体的主要兴趣主题；此外由Lepton Photon 2015发起的海报会议也为个人研究者、工作组和合作组提供了更多展示他们工作的机会。

Brief Introduction to Lepton Photon 2017：

The International Symposium on Lepton Photon Interactions at High Energies (Lepton Photon), as designated by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), is a conference series held every other year as the premiere conference for high-energy physics and related fields. Physicists from around the world gather at Lepton Photon to discuss the latest advancements in particle physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, cosmology and plans for future facilities.

The XXVIII International Symposium on Lepton Photon Interactions at High Energies will be held on the South Campus of Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), Guangzhou, China from Aug 7 to Aug 12, 2017, co-hosted by SYSU and IHEP, CAS (Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Science). The conference will follow the tradition: the program features plenary sessions covering topics of major interest to the greater high energy physics community; in addition, initiated by Lepton Photon 2015, poster sessions are also organized for individual researchers, working groups and collaborations to have more opportunities to present their work.
