摘要： 
Conformal invariant quantum field theories (CFTs) usually emerge at the fixed points of the renormalization group flows, which are relevant to the critical points of second order phase transitions. The conformal bootstrap program attempts to solve the conformal field theories using only general principles, such as conformal symmetry and consistency of operator product expansions. In this seminar,  I will explain the basic idea of conformal bootstrap in general dimensions and give an overview of some developments in recent years. I will also present a new approach which is called “inverse conformal bootstrap".
