Understanding neutrino from nuclear physics

摘要:In this talk, I will talk about neutrino problems related to nuclear physics. We investigated the role of First Forbidden beta decay and find that exclusion of FF decay in the simulation of the reactor neutrino flux could possibly be a reason of producing such anomaly. In this talk, I will also talk about our calculations of nuclear matrix elements for neutrinoless double decay. We discuss the possible origin of deviations from different methods and possible error estimations of the matrix element.

 

报告人简介:Professor Dong-Liang Fang studied in department of Physics in Zhejiang University from 2000.09 to 2004.07 and continued his study as a Master students in Zhejiang Institute of Modern Physics, Zhejiang University till 2007.12. In 2008, he started his study as a PhD student in Tuebingen University Germany. After obtaining his Doctor’s degree in science in 2011, he worked as a research associate in NSCL and JINA, MSU. In 2014, he accepted a Associate Professor position in Jilin University.
