摘要:One of the most straightforward pathways to synthesis desirable organic molecules is, in principle, the C-H bond functionalization. Stimulated by this perspective, tremendous effort has been devoted to the scission of C-H bonds in the past decades, involving transition metal catalysis and harsh condition applications. However, the selective aromatic C-H activation has still been considered as one of the most challenging topics in organic chemistry, not only due to the relative large bonding energy of the C-H bonds, but also due to the poor selectivity since multiple reaction sites exist.
Recently, the development of “on-surface chemistry”, in which heterogeneous catalysis has been performed on a metal support, provides alternative routes for the C-H functionalization. Herein, I will introduce our recent work relevant to the C-H activation on surface. The reaction pathway and the reaction barrier were revealed by STM observations and DFT calculations. In addition a surface controlled novel mono- and di-selectivity of the ortho C-H activation was reported.
报告人简介:李青, 在 北京大学bet亚洲登录官方网站获得学士学位,而后在中科院物理所获得博士学位。经过一段时间的博士后研究后(美国橡树岭国家实验室),于2013年4月回国担任苏州大学功能纳米与软物质学院的特聘副教授。李青的研究主要集中在使用低温扫描隧道显微镜研究强关联电子体系的新奇物理性质,以及有机小分子在表面的新奇反应。李青回国后已经先后在Nat. Commun., JACS, PRL和PNAS 等杂志上发表论文多篇。
